We all grow old,
for growing old, is natural.
Yet only few of us grow mature,
for maturity, is a choice.

When you find yourself,
living a life of constant comparison to others,
measuring yourself with others as standard,
living a life of competition, a life thriving to winning over others,
feeling proud and better from surpassing others’ achievement,
and feeling lost when they are ahead of you,
then you shall know; you are with the many crowd.
With those living temporary joy of superiority,
with those who grow old,
yet behave like a child fighting over some toys;
and you can never be satisfied,
because no matter what you do,
you cannot win all the toys in the world!

Yet you are not stuck there,
for you always have the option to go beyond competition.
You can leave the game of winning and losing.
You can stop making measurement,
you can stop comparing yourself to others altogether;
Then you shall realize, certain goal was no longer there to win.
For unique contribution; whoever you are, and whatever you do,
is what truly matters,
what brings you true bliss and peace.
Maturity is never about winning and standing over others;
It is always about giving best contribution you can make.
