Meditative Driving

Tonight I was driving back home when I realized that I was rushing.
Not that I was in a hurry,
it was simply my habit of horning at anything slower,
my habitual attempt of clearing my way out.
So I corrected my breath,
and stopped forcing my way through–
–acting like effortless water, flowing down the river…

… then,
no more slow rides on the way.

No red lamps on crossroads.

Effortless constant flow, I was,
going back home.

Now,
do we ever really need to act and arrange everything,
forcefully?
Why don’t we just flow like the water, and enjoy the easy ride–
–let The Universe arrange everything on the way?

Hope I can maintain this awareness next time I drive :p
