The Fate of All Structures

The ultimate fate of all structures,
is to collapse back to nothingness,
from which it emerged.
Just like the ocean wave falling back to the sea,
from which it arises.

There is nothing you or I or all of us could do,
to preserve any structures.
We can prolong our lifetime for a while, but still,
our body, our physical incarnation, will eventually dissolve,
and thus, death is inescapable.
So does the fall of any structure, is inevitable.

Atomic and chemical structures are not meant to last.
Specieses emerge and extinct along the history of life.
Human empires and civilizations rise and fall.
Communism fell apart when capitalism shone the world with bright promise–
–but even now, American capitalism is falling apart.
No structures are meant to last,
for they are all destined, only to fall back nothingness.

Eventually,
all religious dogmas and institutions,
all scientific systems,
all belief systems, all structures of ego’s mind–
all will collapse back to nothingness,
the way they are all destined to be.
Even the greatest structure we call The Universe,
is meant to collapse back to Nothingness,
from which it originated.

~

Is there any more reason to cling to any structures?
Free yourself of any attachment, for,
whatever you attach yourself into, is meant to dissolve.
Just flow along The River of Life,
The Absolute Presence, The One Consciousness,
from which all structures emerge, to which all structures return.

  1. That was very good indeed :)

People can accuse you of being a bit morbid when you give them these truths but they are very powerful and liberating.

Maybe they can… but I am optimistic some of them can eventually grab the message :) Thanks, Tao :)

yes, I agree. Our ego is the real culprit.’Clinging’ is its habit. Not with human efforts, but it is with HIS grace that w e can liberate ourselves from attachments.
Another eye opener post. Thanks for sharing.
    God bless.

  4. You discount any spiritual side. But if you look deep inside you realize that the ouside and inside are both infinite and the infinite is neither destroyed or lost. So your structure falls in on itself while the spirit continues.

    @ Surjit: Thanks :)

@ Tag: Hi Tag :) I believe we mean the same the thing. The Infinite is neither destroyed or lost–but structures as Its manifestation rise and fall :)
