@ Derek: “Nothing special”, eh? I guess, for me, it’s true especially during “special days” like New Year, birthday, etc… the moment is always is, the “speciality” is simply society’s arbitrary. Even if I join a party, it’s for the sake of the moment, not for the sake of celebrating anything. Yes, nothing is special because there only is. Thanks for valuable addition, Derek :)

Timeless flow. Thanks…we all need the reminder from time to time.

But what bliss when the experience visits me! If I was present in the moment all of the time, then the constant bliss would soon devolve into nothing special.

Many Zen masters have responded with the words, “nothing special” in answer to their students’ question. This “nothing special” must be very valuable, unless we experience all of the time. .. Or maybe not :-)

Ha, ha . . ok, none of us are in denial of linear time, even if it is an invention of mans mind, but the fact is that people are lost in ‘psychological’ time; the time they have gathered as their conditioned self/personality since birth.

The truth, and the fact, is that:
‘Only Now is Real.’

But the conditioned personality, the I-Ego, is lost in a psychological time-line from birth (past) to imagined death (future). However, when the conditioned mind becomes perfectly still, one descends into the depths of be-ing, which is also oneness, unity and present moment awareness.
