Ego is a cunning evil.
The more we try to crush him, the more powerful he becomes;
the tighter his grip of slavery upon us.
Only by accepting him, with open arms,
with radiance of Love,
he bows;
and converts into a powerful ally.

Accepting or no accepting,it (ego)will remain.The challange is how to tame it….????

Ego is not to be rejected, or annihilated; how come we reject and annihilate what is inseparable part of our existence, of Oneness?
Ego is to be tamed, to be transcended; so it is not in control. And to tame it, of course, one cannot reject it; one has to love and accept it :)

Good post Rizal…you are right. Trying to rid ego with ego is the proverbial wiping away blood with blood. Don’t work.

Embrace the ego…fighting and running from it only feeds it! Embracing it gives you a chance to dance, play and have fun with it.

Yes, a wonderful post indeed Rizal, ego is simply an expression of oneness. All there is ‘this’, and this is oneness, beingness, the wholeness of unconditional love. The realization of oneness/unconditional love brings about a shift whereby the ego is no longer the master, but the servant once more . . .
