Let our eyes meet, at glance,
in an instant blink of the moment.
Deep in yours, I see Me;
as You can see You, in mine.
We are One, looking at Oneself;
no matter whom you see,
You see no one but Yourself.
When you hate, You hate Yourself;
when you love, You love Yourself.
Be aware of how you judge others;
It is exactly how you value yourself.

Very well said:
..’Be aware of how you judge others;
It is exactly how you value yourself..’
We always see our own image in others.
Thanks for sharing another insightful post.

To gaze into the mirror and tell the reflection you honestly love and appreciate it is a challenge for many people. They feel uneasiness when they sense some level of self-rejection and may not yet pinpoint what that is. As you raise self-awareness, you empower self to embrace everything more unconditionally. To realize oneness is a reflection of unwavering self-love.

I remebered this on reading your post by
Rahman Baba
‘ I am a lover and I deal in love.
Sow flowers so that your surroundings become a garden. If you sow thorns they will prick your feet.
We are all one body, whoever tortures another wounds themselves.’

@ Liara: It is a challenge, indeed; I have to keep reminding myself quite often. Thanks for the addition
@ Vole: Rahman Baba? I might search for him. A wise master, he must be. Thanks for dropping by

Dear Rizal, I don’t know if you’ll find Rahman Baba online. I found a story about a discilple of his. In 9 Lives, by William Dalrymple.

@ Dorian: You’re lucky to be able to feel that way. It’s a hard thing for many. Thanks for dropping by, BTW
@ Vole: Turn out he is one of famous Sufi Poets… so, now wonder. He’s not hard to find on the net

I love this! It’s literally and figuratively true!

Whahahahaha, I do not actually get which is literal and which is figurative, but I really appreciate your comment here. Thanks a lot, C. Om

Yes, it gives new meaning to the saying that we are our own worse enemies at times. I know I have said this before but, loneliness is the emtional illusion, aloneness can be read as Al (all)-one-ness.

Ah, we are our own worst enemy… I have a post regarding that issue, it’s going to be posted pretty soon
Anyway, I love that term: “all-one-ness”. Thanks for sharing it here, Derek. Along with brief explanation about loneliness. I really appreciate it
