What makes us happy?
What makes us unhappy?
Why does one thing relate to happiness in a moment,
and relate to unhappiness in another?
What is happiness,
what is unhappiness,
itself,
in the first place?
Oooo..good questions…no answers :~)

At least, none can be completely conceptualized or fully translated into words :D

Silence is golden. Peace of mind is the most valuable commodity. One can always reconnect with the love, joy and serentiy in the heart. Making peace with the past requires one accepts unconditionally everything about self, the moment and all that is.

These are just mind’s creations. It is atuned to living in ‘duality’.It needs fine tuning every minute and needs to be persuaded to accept ‘what is’.
A nice post.
God bless.

@ Liara: Unconditional is the key, then? Though there cannot be a ‘real’ key :D
@ Surjit: Nice one! Though it hasn’t really touched the core of the question. If happiness is mind’s illusion, and if unhappiness is too, then why one becomes favorable and one doesn’t? Ahhh… more questions! :D

Hi Rizal,
When I ask myself if I am happy, I am unhappy. When I don’t ask, I am happy. :D

The answer remains the same….take refuge in non duality….

@ Alexys: Nice thought, Alexys! Mmm… how about being happy all the time, even when I ask myself if I am happy?
@ Surjit: Alrighty :D

Its said one is unhappy if one gets what one wants or if one does not get what one wants.
One either surrenders to unconditional acceptance or not. One aligns with the inner peace of being or not. The peace continues to exist whether it is accepted or rejected.

For me true happiness is the alignment of feelings, thought, words and actions.

@ Liara: Then it’s a lose-lose situation, I guess :D I agree, peace continues to exist; one only needs to choose to realize it :)
@ Mark: That is very nice, Mark. Thumbs up :D
