Be like the sky,
neither resists nor indulges the clouds;
accepts even the brightest of days,
even the darkest of the storm,
and lets them pass.
So vast, so open,
Infinite.
Nice Rizal….may we all be like the sky, or in fact, let us make the sky jealous by realzing our own infinite nature.

good stuff Rizal. The sky makes for a great metaphor – like the ego, the sky is not even there, only a construct.
-- tawan, July 3, 2010
@ Shinzen: I thought that sky, too, is content with whatever it is, hehehehehehe :D
@ Tawan: Doh, I thought it was real :p a construct useful as a metaphor to being, that is :)
-- Rizal Affif, July 4, 2010
@ Bea: Ahhh… thank you. Have a great summer too :)
@ Alexys: Well, it’ll depend how one interpret those constructs. But instead of debating about the constructs, it is better to comprehend the message the metaphor conveyed :)

Evocative of that place of sanity that’s so hard to articulate and yet it’s the most real and authentic identity a person can know.
-- Paul Maurice Martin, July 5, 2010
Ah, ya… talking about the Real that is Unexplainable! Thanks Paul :)
-- Rizal Affif, July 6, 2010
Ahhh Rizal! Why do have to ask people to do the impossible…;-)? If only we could have the equanimity!
-- MyoChi, July 6, 2010
Uh-oh, I am not asking people to do something. It is a simple reminder of being :)

I love looking at the sky. It doesn’t matter if it’s a beautiful bright blue or a dark murky grey. You summed it up for me. The sky is openness and infinity. And all kinds of possibilities.

Hi, Ivee,
Indeed no matter how dark or how bright it is, the sky remains the sky–it cannot be hurt or altered.
Just like us :)
Thanks for visiting The Soul Sanctuary, I hope you enjoy your stay :)

Some people think God lives in the sky out of reach. Yet, one can also sense Source energy is not a person, but an indescribable experience you feel as you do nothing. The infinite registers in emptiness.
-- Liara Covert, July 11, 2010
Yes.
Maybe people of old personify God as a person sitting on the sky, because they the sky reflected the Infinite :)
