I guess the selfish gene is how the evolutionary biologists interpret Reality. It is one perspective.
Physical world being merely an illusion, too, is a perspective.
Believing one is true and one is false, then, is a form of clinging, or attachment, to a particular perspective.
One Truth must encompass and transcend all possible perspectives. It is not a star or a black hole, it is the whole universe.
True it is easy to argue against others closed off view and result in looking like you take the opposing closed off view – when in fact we are saying that there are no fixed views and it is truly a magnificent, unexplainable oneness.

@ Alexys: Interesting. The word “truth” itself implies that there is “not-truth”. The word is a limitation by itself. One truth or many truths just the same; they divide things into two, truth and not-truth.
The One Truth I try to pinpoint here is the single ultimate reality we all experience, often seemingly as segmented things and separated point of views. Yet there was no suitable word to point to such Infinite Oneness–there can never be, since word itself is a limitation; just like no bottle can ever contain the ocean.
Of course the label “One Truth” also encompasses your opinion as another individual’s perspective–among infinite. What you call “many truths”, I call “multitude perspectives”. Same meaning, different usage of word–different bottle to try to contain the very same Ocean.
I prefer using the word “perspective” because it seemed to me that all those infinite reality, infinite possibilities, are ultimately One and The Same. One Truth, seen from different angles and perspectives, look like separate, different, many truths.
