So you really want joy, and peace?
Then choose to be,
just be.
There is no reason not to be,
except the ones you justify yourself.
So stop making excuses;
and be.
There,
you have it.
It was always with you, all along.

Hello Rizal, nice words, and I understand where those words come from . . . but . . .
. . can one choose to ‘be’? I find that my choice is choice-less ;-)

Your “choice” is choice-less, Doug?
Beautiful paradox ain’t it? Not choosing is a choice, too! :D

Words are traps….but so much fun to be caught in paradox paradise! It’s like trying to piss in the corner of a silo.

For a rigidly analytical mind, paradox is a hell; it drives that mind nuts!
Hmm… now I know who’s responsible for that smell in the corner of the silo! LOL!!! :D

Ahh, I love people who hide behind words like Paradox, you would never find me doing such a thing, ha, ha . . . as if! ;-P
OK, sooo, You think I’m making choices, but some of us are saying that in this ‘beingness’ there is no choice whatsoever. And that’s the point; I really don’t have a choice, and that’s the truth for those of us who simply ‘are’.
A Paradox? hmmm…
… one simply cannot choose, but one can ‘think’ otherwise! When the ‘thinker’ is done, your choice is choice-less…
:-D

Wanting is the illusion that reveals one selectively forgets already having. To open the mind and heart is to align with the answers of great mysteries sought.
-- Liara Covert, August 24, 2010
@ Doug: So now you choose to think that you don’t have a choice? Another paradox, LOL! :D
@ Liara: Ah, ya, wanting itself is illusion, indeed. As much as reasons :D
-- Rizal Affif, August 24, 2010
. . ha, ha, nice one Rizal, quick with the retort as always ;-)
But, there ya go again assuming that what is so for you is so for another! I have a couple of posts coming up that cover this; I stand by my words: ‘Choice is an illusion caused by a lack of reality!’
Where ‘I Am’, there is no choice, but if you choose to ‘think’ otherwise then, well ….fair enough my friend, no probs!
By the way, ‘I’ don’t think; I am Being. Being simply is, and being Perceives what is, then being does what has to be done in this moment, choicelessly by simply looking at the facts in front of it. What needs to happen simply happens through ‘being’ taking action; there is no one here doing it, ahhh beautiful! That is the life of being … my life.
:-D
