@ Myochi: Hi Myochi, it’s been a while :) without ideals to pursue, humans will be content and blissful with everything. It is having something to pursue that created depression in the first place. There is nothing to bridge.

@ Paul: Nice point, Paul :) yes such kind of disease (or in my case, certain impairment) makes it much harder to perform even simplest activities. But it does not necessarily be a problem. Complain can only come when one holds the idea about how things should be, instead of living life as is :)

Having a bizarre rare disease that limits your mobility in extreme ways and makes even eating and using the toilet activites that require immense concentration to be done successfully turns these activities into problems that are not fun.

But it’s also possible not to complain about having things be that way and have them cease to be problems in that sense.

Real good one, Rizal. The challenge is that on one hand it is the a problem, on the other hand it is also the fuel of human race. It is the race towards ideal and the gap to it, that keeps human race fueled and inspired. They get up every day morning to bridge this gap, which gives them their purpose in life. Without this thing to pursue, they will be lost and depressed.

@ Paul: Problems are interpretation of the mind, indeed! Difficulties might really need to address… but they’re not necessarily problems. They can be, let’s say, some fun puzzle game :D

It ends what I guess I’d think of as unnecessary problems – problems as they exist as an aspect of the mind. And the freer you are from that sort of problem the more you can direct attention to actual difficulties you may need to address.
